Speaker One-Sheet
Armand Kadima
Keynote Speaker. Author. Fractional CFO.
Survival is not our basic instinct. The expression of our divinity is.

About
Armand Kadima speaks to leaders, clinicians, and financial professionals about what human beings are actually built for. His argument is that people are not made to survive hardship but to create something out of it, and that this capacity can be reached deliberately.
He has been a featured speaker at congressional briefings on maternal health at the United States Capitol in 2024, 2025, and 2026, sponsored by congressional offices and the Black Maternal Health Caucus. He has also spoken for Morehouse School of Medicine, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, the Atlanta Medical Association, and the Entrepreneurs' Organization.
He knows the subject from inside. He was ten when war reached his classroom in Lubumbashi. He buried both parents by eighteen. In July 2020 his wife Yolanda, a doula and lactation consultant, died three days after delivering their second set of twins. He is raising their eight children.
He is the founder of Med Firm LLC and the Yolanda Shiphrah Kadima Foundation.
Why Organizations Book Him
Congress has hosted him three years running. Featured speaker at the 2024, 2025, and 2026 Dads Got Something to Say briefings at the U.S. Capitol, sponsored by congressional offices and the Black Maternal Health Caucus, in support of the Momnibus and the Dads Matter Act. Organizations that invite him invite him back.
He brings two credentials nobody else combines. A CFO's discipline with numbers and a husband's account of the worst outcome a health system can produce. Financial audiences hear a peer. Clinical audiences hear a witness. Leadership audiences hear both.
Audiences act afterward. Every keynote gives the room one practice to use that week, one moment of stillness, one moment of laughter, and one direct charge. It is built for the person in row thirty who is quietly going through the worst season of their life.
Keynotes
Survival Is Not Our Basic Instinct
How human beings create miracles out of difficulties
For leadership summits, associations, entrepreneur communities, universities
The promise: your audience leaves with a new account of what people are capable of when circumstances are at their worst, and a way to reach that capacity on purpose.
They walk out able to:
- Name the difference between enduring a season and building from it
- Use one daily practice that holds a leader steady under sustained pressure
- Lead a team through a period that has no roadmap without pretending it does
The Delivery Room
A husband's account and a leader's charge
For hospital systems, hospital associations, perinatal and nursing conferences, patient safety and public health
The promise: your clinicians and administrators see the maternal mortality crisis from the chair beside the bed, told without accusation and without flinching, by the man who has carried that account to the Capitol three years running.
They walk out able to:
- Recognize the hours after a birth where a family's account and a chart's account diverge
- Apply five leadership decisions that change the seventy two hours after delivery
- Connect their institution to concrete action through the Yolanda Shiphrah Kadima Foundation
The Ledger
A CFO's guide to building wealth after losing everything
For financial services, state CPA societies, fintech, small business and entrepreneur audiences
The promise: your audience hears money and meaning from a man who reads financial statements for a living and has rebuilt his own from two thousand dollars, lost his largest client overnight, and rebuilt again.
They walk out able to:
- Identify the financial decisions that protect a family before they are needed
- Understand what happens to a business when the person at its center is gone
- Rebuild on a framework that does not depend on optimism
